The awards will be limited to a maximum of $500 for presenters attending from locations in the United States and Canada, and $1,000 to those attending from elsewhere. Eligibility will be based on financial need and the technical merit of the proposed presentation. In addition, eligibility is contingent on preparing an acceptable abstract for presentation at the conference.
To obtain reimbursement, grantees will be required to submit receipts and a summary of claimed expenses. If the conference organizers receive these materials by May 9, 2011, reimbursement can be processed within 24 hours of the grantee’s arrival at the conference. Reimbursements will be made by check or wire transfer.
The application period for travel grants has now closed.
